Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Advanced Clinician with a background in mental health, social work, or a related field to join our mission-driven team. This is a contract position with compensation based on billable hours. You'll have the autonomy to build your own caseload, set your own schedule, and deliver services in a way that fits your life.
This position also includes the unique opportunity to provide equine-assisted therapy at our ranch. If you’re passionate about experiential learning and want to incorporate horses into your clinical work, this role gives you the space to do just that. We utilize certification and training from Greg Kersten’s OK Corral Series and Elaine Davis with Unbridled Faith for equine-assisted therapy and learning.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide in-office assessments, therapy, and counseling services to individuals, couples, and families.
Build and maintain your own caseload by promoting and recruiting for your services.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation for billing and quality assurance.
Optionally incorporate equine-assisted therapy into treatment plans.
Work independently while supporting the vision and mission of Quakerdale Family Services.
Qualifications:
Master’s degree (MSW, MA/MS) in social work, counseling, or family therapy.
Active Iowa license is required.
A personal calling to ministry or service, demonstrated through a commitment to helping others in alignment with Quakerdale’s mission.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Belief in people’s ability to grow, heal, and change.
Passion for working within a family-focused, strength-based model.
Willingness to travel throughout Central Iowa as needed.
Must pass child abuse and criminal background checks.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification or experience in equine-assisted therapy.
Training in Greg Kersten’s OK Corral Series or Elaine Davis's Unbridled Faith is a plus, or willingness to pursue certification through one of these models.

Position: Contracted Functional Family Therapist Location: Fort Dodge & Marshalltown, IA (Serving Calhoun, Hamilton, Hardin, Humboldt, Marshall, Pocahontas, and Webster counties)

Education:
